News & Events

April 25th marks the 3rd successful year of Action 4 Bullying! We have been supporting young people affected by bullying for 3 years now & in that time we have made a lot of amazing memories. On 21st April we help an event to mark this milestone. The event was attended by local MP Jack Dromey who presented our volunteers with well deserved awards. We would like thank everyone who attended & all those who have supported us over the past 3 years.

Sponsor Action 4 Bullying!

The young people of Action 4 Bullying are doing a sponsored walk in fancy dress to raise funds for our charity.

Project Manager John has also reluctantly done a deal with our youth club members that if they all get behind our fancy dress sponsored walk on 30th April,he will do the walk dressed as Hagrid from Harry Potter

John said I will not only do the walk which in itself is a challenge for me but do it dressed as Hagrid from Harry potter! 'Those who know me know this is not going to be easy as I hate making a show of myself'

Please sponsor us if you can via

New Funding For A4B

Action 4 Bullying has recently been awarded £1075 from the Heart Of England Community Trust on behalf of Coventry Building Society. We would like to thank them for supporting the work we do.

We have also recently been approved for £2000 funding from the Stronger Communities Fund via The office for the police & crime commissioner.

We would also like to that the Good Enough Trust for their continued support for our project in the form of a number of grant donations.

Secret City Arts
Stories Of Erdington High Street

Last year our young people were involved in an exciting project with Secret City Arts known as 'Stories Of Erdington High Street. Our youth club members were given the opportunity to explore different art forms whilst finding out about the history of Erdington. As part of the project the young people created the video seen below and achieved an Arts Award Accreditation. We would like to thank Pyn & Mandy from secret city arts for their hard work & creativity. To find out more about secret city arts click the link below:

Our New Centre

In January 2017 Action 4 Bullying moved from its original base at Six Ways Baptist Church to Malcolm Locker Youth Centre. Malcolm locker is a purpose built youth centre and hosts some great facilities including a astro turf football pitch, full office facilities, a sports hall & youth club area. The new centre has proven a big hit with staff and young people.
